Testing...Testing...1...2...3...

I wasn't planning on doing this. Really, I wasn't. First Ray started a blog and it was funny and cool and just this side of sane. And then Nuray (aka Mountaineer) started a blog to stay in touch with friends while she was living in Russia. (And also, I assume, so we would have a record of her days that we can give the media when we start seeing her on CNN with an AK-47 screaming about revolution.) But Nuray forgot to change the setting on her comments to allow anonymous users to post comments and the unbreakable rules of Blogger.com dictated that I must start a blog myself. So here it is.

Some things you might be wondering about:

1. "Chateau Petrus...'82" is the drink of choice of one Mr. Sark, aka Julian Lazaray, aka The Pretty. He is a character on the television show "Alias." If you are an Alias fan, congratulations. You have proven yourself to be wise, at least in your television viewing habits. If you are not an Alias fan, you're stupid and I hate you. No, not really. But I have begun to question your intelligence, especially if you've opted to watch American Idol on Wednesdays instead. Bad choice.

2. You might see an occasional post from someone named Purple Pen, otherwise known as Simon God of Hairdos. She was also forced into the blogging by the aforementioned rules of Blogger.com. She is as crazy as I am. Do not taunt her or she will smite you.

3. Common themes that may show up in this blog (should I choose to post anything past this entry): Oscar Quest, Alias, and the idiots in my office. Actually that last one would take up a blog of its own.
